Savory Pork Chop w/ Bourbon Syrup Glaze

Savory Grilled Pork Chops


Ingredients

2 - Thick Cut Pork Chops

1 Tbs. Cook’s Fowl Play (pork chops)

1/2 t salt

Sauce

1/4 C Shagbark Hickory Bourbon Syrup (Eveland Syrups Ann Arbor Farmers Market)

1 tsp Autumn Essence

1 Tbs Butter


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheight

  2. Season the pork chops with Cook’s Fowl Play and 1/2 t salt (let them reach room temperature)

  3. Grill mark both sides (about 6 mins per side) turn clock wise to get perfect grill marks after 3 mins.

  4. Once marked place on a roasting pan and finish in oven. Internal cooking temp 140, let rest for 10 minutes

  5. For the sauce put Shagbark syrup and Autumn Essence in a pan. Bring to a simmer, remove from heat

  6. Whisk in the room temperature butter

  7. I serve this with baked sweet potatoes and asparagus. This would also go great with the butternut squash fries.(https://www.cooksc.com/post/butternut-squash-fries)
