Roasted or Grilled Cauliflower Steaks

Cauliflower Steaks


Ingredients:

2 medium to large heads of Cauliflower

2 Tbs olive oil or use olive oil spray (bertolli doesn’t have propellants or any without propellants)

2 Tbs Creole In The Bayou or Sahara Sunset


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (218 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper


  2. Cut the cauliflower heads 3/4 inch thick slices, and place onto the baking sheet. You should get 2 maybe 3 slices depending on the size of the cauliflower

  3. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, and Cook’s Creole In The Bayou or Sahara Sunset. (You can also use olive oil spray if you are counting calories) you would just spray the cauliflower and sprinkle on the seasoning. We use Bertolli because it doesn’t have propellants

• 4. Oven method: Bake cauliflower steaks in the oven for 10 minutes. Flip and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until tender and browned.Grill method: Preheat the grill over medium heat. Place the cauliflower steaks on the grill, close the lid, and cook for 5 minutes. Flip, cover, and cook for 4-5 more minutes, until tender and browned.
